Background:

Katrina grew up in East Tennessee and has called Northern Virginia home since 2013. She’s a proud University of Tennessee alumna (GO VOLS!) with a degree in Recreation Therapy. Her passion for mental health began in college, where she volunteered at a camp serving children and adults with multiple physical and mental disabilities. From there she has worked directly with clients in diverse settings, from a geriatric psychiatric hospital to in-home behavioral therapy with children. Over the years, Katrina has steadily advanced into leadership roles in all of her professional experiences. Discovering a passion for the business side of mental health, she thrives on creating practical, effective solutions to complex challenges while helping others help themselves and those around them. 

At Crescent:

As Director of Business Operations, Katrina focuses on creating a seamless and supportive experience for both clients and staff. She oversees operations, billing, finances, and staff management, while providing forward planning for the practice. Approaching every challenge with creativity, resourcefulness, and determination, Katrina strives to implement solutions that are both effective and sustainable, leaving no problem unresolved.

Her strategic vision and hands-on approach supports the growth and well-being of the team, ensures clients receive the highest quality experience possible, and helps Crescent operate and grow with purpose.

Just for fun:

Off the clock, Katrina can be found planning her next adventure with her family, enjoying a good meal while already plotting the next one, hunting down a deal, or tackling a house project. And when Blippi hasn’t taken over her TV, you will probably find her binging reality TV or the latest documentary like it’s a competitive sport—because, naturally, she can turn anything into a competition.
