Are sessions in person or virtual? Can I do both?
At Crescent Counseling Center, you can choose in-person sessions, virtual sessions, or a hybrid approach, giving you the flexibility to receive care in the way that best fits your needs.
I’m looking for therapy services for my child, what should I expect?
Parent involvement is a crucial part of successful treatment. Our clinicians recognize the important role you play in your child’s life and in their therapy progress.
Intake Session
If your child is under 14, both you and your child will need to be present for the intake session. If your child is over 14, it is preferred that you still attend, though it is not required.
This first meeting gives the clinician an opportunity to get to know your child, understand their needs, and gather important background information to guide treatment.
Follow-Up Sessions
The structure of follow-up sessions may vary depending on your child’s needs. Sessions may include:
Individual sessions with your child
Parent sessions with the therapist
Family sessions involving both you and your child
Your child’s clinician will collaborate with you to determine the right balance of these approaches to best support your child’s growth and well-being.
How can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
You can cancel or reschedule appointments directly through your Therapy Portal .
Please note: Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before your appointment cannot be processed through the portal. In this case, please contact your clinician directly. A $100 cancellation fee will apply.
