Are there any fees if I cancel or reschedule my session?

How can I find out how much I will pay out of pocket for my sessions with my insurance plan?
We verify your insurance when you complete intake paperwork and can provide you with an estimate of costs at your request. Because co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums vary by plan, we recommend contacting your insurance company directly if you want detailed information before your first visit.
Below is more information to help you understand the difference between a co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, and out-of-pocket max/catastrophic caps.
Co-pay:
A co-pay is a fixed amount you pay for a specific service, like $20 per session.
Co-insurance:
Co-insurance is a percentage of the cost of a service that you pay after you’ve met your deductible. For example, if your plan has 20% co-insurance and the service costs $100, you pay $20 and the insurance covers $80.
Deductible:
Your deductible is the amount you must pay out of pocket for covered services each year before your insurance starts paying. For instance, if your deductible is $500, you pay the first $500 of covered services, and after that, your insurance begins to share costs. Most deductibles start over on Jan 1st, although some plans vary.
Out-of-Pocket Maximum/Catastrophic Cap:
This is the most you’ll have to pay in a year for covered services, including co-pays, co-insurance, and deductible. Once you reach this limit, your insurance pays 100% for the rest of the year.
My insurance is not accepted at Crescent Counseling Center. What are my options for payment?
Clients have the option of paying our out-of-pocket rate if we do not accept their insurance. You can find a breakdown of our rates on our billing/insurance page!
At the client's request, we can provide client with a superbill to submit to their insurance for reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to find out if your plan will cover out-of-network expenses. This will help ensure you have all the information you need for a successful reimbursement process.
