Background:

Sally is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holder of a Pupil Personnel Services License in School Counseling, both from the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has worked with a diverse range of clients, supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and trauma. Sally prioritizes building trust and rapport as the foundation of her work, believing that clients feel most comfortable, safe, and heard when a trusting relationship is established. With empathy, clear communication, and intuition, she partners with clients to set meaningful goals and develop effective coping strategies.

Technique:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is Sally’s primary orientation, but she also draws from Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Play Therapy modalities, frequently integrating mindfulness and grounding techniques. She thoughtfully tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs and circumstances, ensuring flexibility and individualized care.
