About the Program

Crescent Counseling Center offers a limited number of no-cost counseling appointments for individuals in the community. This program is designed to provide brief, supportive counseling for people who may benefit from short-term care. Individuals must be 8 years or older to participate

Services are provided by a supervised counseling intern and are limited to up to 8 sessions.

Who This Program May Help

This program may be a good fit for individuals seeking support with:

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Life transitions

  • Relationship concerns

  • Coping skills

  • Emotional regulation

  • Adjustment-related challenges

  • Mild to moderate mood concerns

Program Details

  • No cost to participate

  • Up to 8 counseling sessions

  • Services provided by a supervised counseling intern

  • Limited availability

  • Screening form required before scheduling

  • Available to individuals who are clinically appropriate for short-term outpatient counseling

This Program Is Not Appropriate For…

This program is not designed for individuals who need:

  • Immediate crisis support

  • Emergency mental health care

  • Court-ordered treatment

  • Custody-related documentation

  • Disability, legal, or forensic evaluations

  • Intensive trauma treatment

  • Substance withdrawal support

  • A higher level of care such as IOP, PHP, residential, or inpatient treatment

Ages 14-18

What to Expect:

This drop in group is led by our Clinical Intern, Isac Corona

In a supportive group setting, participants will learn about 

  • navigating identity 

  • building resilience 

  • managing anxiety 

  • preparing for life transitions
