Clinical Areas of Interest:
Background:
Rebecca — or Becca — is a nationally certified (NCC) Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field. She earned her degree in counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and has worked with clients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including adolescents, young adults, military families, and older adults. Becca also brings a meaningful perspective from her time working in school settings, giving her a grounded understanding of the unique pressures young people face both inside and outside the classroom.
Technique:
Becca is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients with a wide spectrum of needs. Her work centers on trauma-informed care, with particular depth in complex and relational trauma, eating disorders, and supporting individuals navigating self-harm or crisis. She is also developing her expertise in complicated grief — an area she sees as underserved and central to many clients' struggles. Becca's style is compassionate and client-centered, with a firm belief that healing is possible at any stage of life.
Just for fun:
Outside of her clinical work, Becca enjoys running marathons, spending time with her beloved cat, and visiting her family in Pennsylvania.
