Background:

Bobbie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who was born in Maryland and raised in Southeast Washington, D.C. They earned their undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies from Virginia Wesleyan University and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School. Bobbie is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in International Psychology with a concentration in trauma services at The Chicago School. They bring experience working across multiple levels of care and with diverse populations and diagnoses, approaching each client with cultural humility and deep respect for individual identity and experience.

Technique:

Bobbie’s therapeutic approach integrates DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based methods to help clients gain deeper understanding of their emotions and behaviors. Their work centers on fostering self-awareness, personal growth, and emotional balance within a safe, inclusive, and affirming therapeutic environment.
