Background:

Diamond is a Resident in Counseling at Crescent Counseling Center with a rich educational background and diverse clinical experience. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she has lived in Northern Virginia for three years. Diamond earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wilmington University and holds two master’s degrees from Marymount University—in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic and Legal Psychology. She has worked in various settings with clients from diverse backgrounds presenting a broad range of concerns.

Technique:

Diamond’s therapeutic style is integrative, incorporating CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, and Narrative Therapy techniques. She is passionate about creating a comfortable and open environment where clients feel safe to learn and grow. Diamond also enjoys integrating mindfulness and expressive arts into her work to help clients achieve their counseling goals. Deeply committed to multicultural competence and social justice advocacy, she tailors each client’s experience to honor their individuality and maximize their personal growth.
