Background:

Julia is a Resident in Counseling at Crescent Counseling Center, originally from Northern Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina before returning to the DMV area to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Washington University.

Technique:

Julia’s therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and person-centered therapy techniques. She has experience working with adolescents and brings a passionate commitment to supporting mental health and personal growth. Julia strives to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel heard and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.

Just for fun:

Outside of counseling, Julia enjoys hot yoga, reading, and discovering new restaurants and recipes, which fuels her curiosity and creativity beyond the therapy room.

Julia provides clinical services under the supervision of the LPC listed below. As a Resident in Counseling, Julia does not obtain or provide services on an independent basis, and she does not independent submit insurance claims. All insurance claims are submitted through Crescent Counseling Center.
