Background:

Lauren grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013. She began her career teaching social and emotional skills to at-risk youth in afterschool programs, then spent several years working one-on-one with clients in therapeutic and behavioral support settings. In 2019, Lauren transitioned to the business side of mental health, developing a passion for efficiency, systems design, and organizational growth.

At Crescent:

As Director of Clinical Services, Lauren focuses on fostering balance, clarity, and cohesion across the practice. She contributes to Crescent’s strategic development, supports clinician onboarding and caseload planning, and manages the website to keep client and community resources up to date. Lauren’s work bridges the structural and human sides of the practice—ensuring that Crescent continues to grow with purpose and harmony.
