Background:

Natalie is a Resident in Social Work who works directly with clients at Crescent, as well as a member of the administrative leadership team in her role as Intake Coordinator. Originally from Maryland, she relocated to Virginia to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Liberty University and later earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boise State University. Throughout her education and clinical training, Natalie developed a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, strengthen emotional well-being, and create meaningful change.

Technique:

In her clinical work, Natalie takes an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from a blend of evidence-based modalities to support each person’s goals. Her style is warm, collaborative, and empathetic, paired with thoughtful structure that encourages insight and growth. She is passionate about empowering clients to identify their strengths, build motivation for change, and apply practical tools to manage stress, transitions, and emotional challenges.

Just for fun:

When she’s not providing therapy or supporting new clients through the intake process, Natalie enjoys spending time with friends and family, working her way through an ever-growing reading list, and relaxing in a hammock at the park.

Natalie Both, Supervisee in Social Work, is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is registered with the Virginia Board of Social Work. Natalie provides clinical services under the supervision of the LCSW listed below. As a Supervisee in Social Work, Natalie does not obtain or provide services on an independent basis, and she does not independently submit insurance claims. All insurance claims are submitted through Crescent Counseling Center.
