Background:

Nazanin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and grew up in Northern Virginia. She brings over six years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Mason University and has worked across diverse settings, including community mental health and non-profit counseling centers.

Technique:

Nazanin’s work is grounded in a humanistic, strength-based philosophy. She focuses on holistic transformation—helping clients cultivate self-compassion, make empowered choices, and reconnect with their inner strengths and wisdom. Her experience includes working with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Warm, empathetic, and direct, Nazanin draws on collaborative and evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, and attachment-based therapy. As a first-generation Iranian, she is deeply committed to supporting multicultural and LGBTQ+ communities and is a strong advocate for intersectional identity and social justice.
