As both a clinician and leader, she is passionate about creating an environment where clients can explore meaningful change and clinicians feel supported in their growth and authenticity.

Originally from the Northeast, Kaitlyn has called Northern Virginia home for the past eight years. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Citadel and has been working in the field for over 17 years. Kaitlyn works with individuals ages 12 and up and integrates a range of evidence-based practices to meet each person’s unique needs. Her areas of expertise include trauma, eating disorders, military-related challenges, and relationship concerns.

Technique:

Grounded in an integrative approach, Kaitlyn places strong emphasis on the therapeutic alliance, utilizing assessment and diagnosis to better understand presenting concerns and guide treatment toward meaningful symptom reduction. She believes our past experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others—and that understanding these connections helps cultivate self-awareness and more authentic relationships.

Just for fun:

Outside of her clinical work, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and interior design.
